McDonald’s is planning to hire up to 375,000 workers at restaurants across the country this summer, the company announced. The company said in a press release that the hiring blitz is one of its biggest in years. It comes as McDonald’s aims to reach a total of 50,000 restaurants by 2027 ‒ an increase of 900 restaurants over the next two years, the chain said. McDonald’s says it employs nearly 2 million people worldwide.
